The Road Safety Trust are an independent grant-giving Trust working hard to reduce the numbers of people killed or injured on our roads. They do this by providing independent funding for vital research and practical interventions into new approaches to road safety.
We are very lucky to have worked with the Road Safety Trust on the EXIT project and now the BYSTANDER project.
Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charity that raises the funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances flying and our fleet of Critical Care Cars responding.
Accidents and illness happen and when they do patients, whatever their age, circumstance or location, need specialist treatment fast. The speed with which our air ambulance doctors and paramedics can reach a patient, identify their time-critical needs and provide their specialist life-saving treatments and interventions to slow, halt or even reverse the effects of a life-threatening condition, is crucial in helping to achieve a successful outcome.
The College of Paramedics is the recognised professional body for paramedics in the UK. The College represents its members in all matters affecting their clinical practice and supports them to achieve the highest standards of patient care.
UKRO is committed to improving rescue standards throughout the UK. Bringing together the UKs rescue services and developing their skills to serve the public.
Gendro’s vision is to transform the research ecosystem by embedding gender and sex dimensions across disciplines. Through collaborative efforts, Gendro strives to bridge knowledge gaps, build research capacity, and convene key stakeholders to drive systemic change for a more inclusive, responsive research landscape. With a strategic focus on health and medical research, Gendro is proud to partner with IMPACT to deepen our understanding of how sex and gender factors shape health outcomes in the realm of road injuries. This collaboration aims to uncover critical insights into how sex and gender influence injury patterns, treatment initiation and effectiveness, and recovery processes, fostering solutions that prioritize equitable health outcomes for all.

Brake is a national road safety charity, founded in 1995, that exists to stop deaths, serious injuries and pollution on roads, and to care for families bereaved and injured in road crashes.
Brake campaigns for safe and healthy roads through seeking government policies and investment to end the carnage, and through projects that help communities, schools and employers promote safe and pollution-free streets locally. Brake delivers Road Safety Week, the UK’s biggest road safety campaign and is the national provider of care and support to victims of road crashes and their families through the National Road Victim Service, helping families cope with the shock, turmoil and devastation that road crashes cause families across the UK every day. We run the National Centre of Excellence for Post Crash Support, the first centre of its kind in the UK dedicated to establishing and promoting best practice in post-crash professional support for victims and their families. We are excited about working more closely with the IMPACT team and exploring opportunities for Brake to support their important work.
