IMPACT is committed to increasing both accessibility and research capacity in the field of post-collision care by fostering collaborative partnerships across all career stages, from early-career researchers to senior leaders.

To support new and inexperienced researchers, we have a mentorship and guidance framework. This includes a peer support network with regular meetings and a seminar series launching in autumn 2025. We can provide a post-collision research project and opportunities for open-access publications and to present work within our network and at conferences; several of our Academic Clinical Fellows presented at the 2025 Traumacare conference.

Past projects have included a mini-Randomised Controlled Trial, systematic and scoping reviews, Delphi studies, qualitative and quantitative projects.  Our research projects will address gaps in post‑collision research to both support IMPACT’s goals and offer new and established researchers a valuable career experience.
